This collection of photographic portraits of the Past Captains has always been known, rather irreverently, as the Rogues Gallery. Originally around A4 size, they were reduced in size as we ran out of wall space at our various venues and were last displayed at our Queensway premises at around 3″ x 4½” each, 16 to the frame.
Reduced in size, maybe, but not in stature.
We have past Captain, T. Hughes (1997), to thank for digitalising them. Some of the later ones were missing and have now been scanned and copied from the reduced prints in the frames. They have lost some definition in these processes.
